Tuesday 20th September 2011 ... we've opened our doors!!

Today we are the proudest team as we open our doors to No 39 London Street.  We have stunning sparkling chandeliers, bespoke purple carpets, and beautifully handcrafted display units from Switzerland.  Our gorgeous flowers from Libby Ferris finish off the entrance wonderfully.  Please do come in and see us, we would love to show you around!

Monday 19th September 2011 ... finishing touches!!!

The guys are doing the finishing touches in the new part of the store today.  The plasma screens are firing up, the flowers are filling the vases and we're almost ready to open our doors tomorrow! 

Wednedsay 10th August 2011 ... the hoarding is down!!!

This morning we have taken down the hoarding outside the new part of the shop to start working on the front of the store.  Our branded areas such as Patek Philippe, Panerai and Breitling are starting to go in and take shape and the new chandelier has been tried out in it's hanging place.  Justin, Mark, Tracey and all the boys there are doing a fantastic job of keeping us on schedule to open in September.  Watch this space!

Wednesday 13th July 2011 ... first floor taking shape!!!

We're plastered, painted and wired in on the first floor now.  Today our carpets go down and the room really starts to feel like a part of us!  We can't wait to get our Links of London, Dunhill & Mont Blanc display cabinets in and of course our service team are itching to move in to their new home.  Not long now ladies!

Friday 27th May 2011 ... breakthrough!!!

Our contractors have made a great start on the ground floor shop area of No.39 this week.  This morning we came in to a big hole, a deliberate one we have to add!  The walkthrough areas between the existing buildings have been created now (and boarded back up neatly) so we have our openings in place.  We even discovered an old brick fire place behind one of the walls, probably used by the past residents!

Tuesday 10th May 2011 ... the offices are in!!!

Our new 2nd floor offices are ready to go and the 1st floor is almost there too, getting ready for our brand new customer facing Service Department.  The service team are very excited as you can imagine and are itching to get in there.  They'll just have to wait a little bit longer as these things cannot be rushed!

In the next couple of weeks work will be starting on the interesting bit ... the shop floor.  With all of our brands such as Patek Philippe, Panerai, Breitling, etc carefully positioned and agreed they are all busy getting their furniture ready for their allocated areas.  Here comes the exciting phase!

Friday 18th February 2011 ... work is well and truly underway!!!

Those of you who have visited recently will have seen the hoarding and scaffolding up and heard some fairly loud noises from No. 39 London Street.  This time it's not our resident Lady in Grey, but our team of builders working hard to get our renovations underway.

Here's a few images of how it looks right now.  Can you visualise our new Patek Philippe boutique area, or our brand new consulation desks, or how about our fantastic service area where you can bring in your repairs and servicing?

Friday 29th October 2010 ... today is a momentous occasion for Winsor Bishop!!!

After months and months of negotiations, we are thrilled to announce the exchange and completion of our extension at 39 London Street, Norwich. This morning we agreed and signed all contracts, leases, terms and conditions and as of today, 29th October 2010, we are the proud new tenants.

Hoarding will go up shortly on the exterior of the premises, works will begin officially at the very start of January (although it’s probable that some construction upgrades will happen prior to then) to deliver the most stunning jewellery shop outside of London.

Hand in hand of course, we also took possession of our new unit in Chapelfield on Wednesday this week, and if you head along there anytime from tomorrow, you will see the hoardings and visuals on the outside of the shop, behind which a world of work is happening to transform the unit into what will be the most spectacular shop in Chapelfield.

This is wonderful progress for us all, and the future of Winsor Bishop.
