Norfolk Jeweller Finalist in UK Awards

Winsor Bishop, Norfolk’s most prestigious jewellers, has been shortlisted as a finalist under Best Business Initiative at the UK Jewellery awards, to be hosted in Park Lane on July 15th 2010.

Sophie Fulford (nee Croydon), Managing Director of Winsor Bishop, launched the online arm called www.rentyourrocks.com to the 176 year old traditional high street business in a strategic move to develop sustainable profitable methods. Rent Your Rocks allows you to rent fine diamond Jewellery for just a week at a time, with very little risk or financial outlay. The development of the business won praise with the judges, due to its dynamic approach.

"This is an amazing achievement! To get this far with a new business in such a short space of time, considering the companies that we were up against is a really strong indication that we are making positive moves. We are incredibly proud to get this far, so fingers crossed for the next stage" says Sophie Fulford.

Winsor Bishop & www.rentyourrocks.com have been listed against a major world wide satellite television shopping channel, amongst others. Finalists will be required to give a full presentation to the panel of judges in June before the winner is announced at a glittering black tie event in Park Lane, London in July.
