Going the distance to bring you the best...

This month our buying team have taken planes, trains & automobiles and ventured to the Far East.  Their mission ... to attend the Hong Kong Jewellery Show in search of the finest pearls to bring back for our customers.

Hong Kong is the world's fourth largest exporter of jewellery and it boasts more jewellery shops per square kilometre than any other city.  John, Maria & Tanya packed their bags and jetted off to this cultural melting pot.  Obviously all experienced in their trade they were comfortable when they hit the exhibition hall and were faced with 300,000 tonnes of pearls in front of them!!  They wasted no time diving head-first into their task ahead and delved into box upon box hunting out the best non-nucleated pearls they could find.

As well as beautiful gold, pink, cream and white pearls they found some not-so-hidden gems in the mesmerising blue form of Lapis Lazuli necklaces which command attention and admiration.
