Sophie FulfordManaging Director
BA (Hons) Psychology, JBM (GIA), DG Dip, GID Di
Sophie began her career in the world of marketing and advertising in London. She continued from there to the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) where she completed 9 months of intensive management, law and technical training before completing an internship with Ireland's largest independent Jewellers. Sophie is constantly striving to bring Winsor Bishop to levels that are far and beyond any other offering in East Anglia and fortunately, is passionate about diamonds. She maintains important network links worldwide in the industry and works closely with GIA giving seminars at their Headquarters in the US on an annual basis.
Sophie now heads up the Management team at Winsor Bishop and is responsible for all aspects of the business.
Richard PeasgoodGeneral Manager
R J Dip, Institute Registered Valuer Member
Richard has worked for Winsor Bishop for 27 years, he joined as a trainee sales assistant back in 1983 and immediately felt at home, "It was the shop itself, the atmosphere of the place," he recalls, "Once I was here I knew there was nowhere better." So he stayed, learning his trade. He earned his Professional Jewellers Diploma and Registered Valuer status. Today, as manager, he oversees all aspects of Winsor Bishop's Norwich shop and he has accrued considerable knowledge of the jewellery profession. But Richard's great passion is for watches. He started buying them for the shop 15 years ago and during that time has come to understand the requirements of a discerning customer base intimately. Today's watch buyers have sophisticated tastes.
Lisa MorganFinance Manager, ACA
Lisa is a chartered accountant with 15 years qualified experience. She began her training within an accountancy practice in Norwich, learning all the grass roots accountancy skills and dealing with many differing industries. After obtaining her professional qualification with first time passes, she progressed to Group Lotus where her skills were developed further reaching manager level. Lisa works part time for Winsor Bishop following the birth of her children. She enjoys working for a family run company with such a valued reputation in the region, and finds it a pleasure to work as part of the team and with such fabulous pieces of jewellery.
Alex BuckenhamFinance, AAT
Alex is a Norfolk girl through & through and worked for Group Lotus from the age of 18 where she progressed her way through the accounts department earning her AAT qualification on her way to Project Accountant. At Winsor Bishop she is responsible for purchase & sales ledgers, cash flow and budget control amongst her many other daily tasks. Alex enjoys working as part of a team at Winsor Bishop and outside of work where she plays Hockey and Lacrosse. You will regularly find her on Trowse Dry Ski Slope as she recently gained her full qualifications as a Ski Instructor.
Susie WagstaffOffice Manager / PA to Senior Management / HR Adviser
Susie is a happily married mum of one and our regular party organiser. She has seven years retail experience and most recently spent five years in the office at a Chartered Accountancy firm. Susie joined the team at Winsor Bishop in August 2010 as Office Manager and PA to the senior management team. She has also undertaken the role of HR Adviser.
David HeadWatch Manager
Born in Canterbury, David has been working in the jewellery business for many years. In fact he started his career with Robert Croydon as a Sales Assistant at Croydon's in Ipswich 33 years ago. Since then he has achieved his Retail Jeweller's Diploma as well as Diamond Grading Certificate and Gem Identification.
David is a music loving husband and father of one with an ecclectic taste for all types of music!
Maria PenningtonDevelopment Manager
R.J.Dip, R.J.GEM Dip, R.J.MAN Dip, F.N.A.G, D.G.A, Pearl Graduate
Maria has worked for Winsor Bishop for 23 years and has been in the Jewellery trade for 25 years. "It's an amazing profession to be in as no two days are the same!" This is why she enjoys her job so much. She can share many experiences with the clients who come to the shop.
She enjoys all aspects of her job and has studied to a high level for the last 23 years, achieving the Retail Jewellers Diploma, Retail Jewellers Gemmology Diploma and has become a Diamond Grading Associate and a Fellow of the National Association of Goldsmiths.
Her responsibilities include buying of diamonds, gems, pearls and jewellery stock, along with planning and designing the window themes for the year.
Sara MooneySenior Sales Adviser, R.J.Dip
Sara has worked for Winsor Bishop for the last 27 years and knows the stock so well that she can often anticipate what a customer may eventually buy. She has two passions; Winsor Bishop and art! Amongst selling and display, Sara’s strengths include Georg Jensen and she has a strong interest in antique items. She enjoys all aspects of the trade from display to building relationships with her clients whilst finding just the right gift for them.
Sharon PointenSales Adviser, P.J. Dip
Sharon Pointen has worked for Winsor Bishop for five years, overseeing the watch department, working in close conjunction with our many prestigious brands.
Sharon has achieved her Professional Jewellers Diploma and looks forward to the next challenge. Sharon has been a brand ambassador for Winsor Bishop, attending many functions and training seminars and has achieved a huge amount of knowledge relating to watches. With her infectious smile your visit to Winsor Bishop will be a fulfilled one.
Sarah HillSales Adviser
Sarah joined Winsor Bishop in March 2008 and has over 12 years experience within the watch and jewellery trade. Originally from London, Sarah has gained her experience from working in Hatton Garden and various companies such as Watches of Switzerland, Mappin & Webb and Harrods. Sarah is currently working towards her Professional Jewellers Diploma and is looking forward to new and exciting challenges with Winsor Bishop.
Shaun JonesSales Adviser
Shaun has been with the Winsor Bishop team over 3 years now. Starting as security, Shaun has developed his product knowledge so much that he has recently made the transition to the sales floor with confidence. He has a fantastic rapport with customers and he is always keen to assist.
Keiko WilsonSales Adviser
Keiko was born in Tokyo, Japan and grew up just outside the city. She studied and received a BA in Foreign Language & Culture before she came to the UK in 1998 to study further. She achieved an MA in History as well as an MA in Applied Translation studies and she also met her future husband.
Five years ago she moved to the UK, married and lived in Hythe, Kent where she worked in a gift shop and developed her passion for retail and customer service. Keiko joined us in June 2010 and brings a further international element to our team.
Michelle ElliottService Manager

It was as a favour to a friend that Michelle discovered her passion for the jewellery business, and almost thirty years later still believes nothing matches it! She has enjoyed extensive training, and combined with living abroad as well as her worldwide travels, feels she has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share. Michelle thrives on a challenge and is currently responsible for updating and modernising the service department.
Clare HollingworthService Adviser
BA, MA
Originally from Surrey, Clare has lived all over the UK for work and study. She very much enjoys studying and has earned a BA in history and an MA in feminist art history. Clare's background is actually in IT having spent 10 years as software test manager consultant but she is enjoying learning all of the practises involved in jewellery retail & service. She is currently studying for her JET 1 Certificate from the National Association of Goldsmiths and will soon be undertaking a service course with Cartier UK.
Clare also enjoys art and photography whilst juggling a busy family life with 6 children and 5 grandchildren.
Damien SohalMarketing & Communications Consultant
Damien's role encompasses all aspects of Marketing, from events and advertising, to our Website and Social Media presence. Damien has already gathered a wealth of retail experience in his career so far, previously in the restaurant industry and specialising in Social Media. It is now under his guidance there will be exciting times ahead in both on and offline spaces.
Victoria SiviterStock Controller
Originally from Norfolk, Victoria has travelled and lived in the Middle East as a child. She still enjoys travelling today and is keen on reading and absorbing anything new. Victoria has come to us from Central Trust Brokers where her role was Customer Account Manager. She is our newest addition to the office and joins the team to take responsibility as Stock Controller in July 2009.
John SimpsonFacilities
John provides the back room services, enables the smooth running of the shop, from registered post in and out to ring cleaning for our clientele. He keeps the shop clean and tidy as well as the chandeliers!
John has forty-two years work experiences and so, with luck, can solve most problems. His hobbies include travelling, especially in Eastern Europe, gardening and all aspects of wildlife.
Glen ChipperfieldSecurity
Glen is also SIA licensed. Norfolk born and bred, he became a key member of the Winsor Bishop team in July 2008 when he joined Shaun in making sure our customers feel welcome and safe. Glen is a family man, with three children, and when he finds the chance between them and us, he is a very keen cricketer.
Luke HerodSecurity
Luke is a member of our security team and provides a first class point of contact with all customers as they enter the shop. Luke takes the security of Winsor Bishop and all of our staff very seriously and his presence is invaluable. He is also a keen biker in his spare time.
