Job Title                      Sales Assistant – 32 hours per week

Location                      Winsor Bishop 39-43 London Street, Norwich, NR2 1HU  

Reports to                   Sales Manager  

Hours of Work            Flexible working week

We are looking for an experienced sales assistant with a professional attitude and excellent communication skills who is looking to take their career to the next level with our luxury brands.

Responsibilities:    

 

  • To meet and exceed the expectations of every customer
  • To maximise sales and margin to agreed targets
  • To maximise each sales opportunity and ensure the highest customer service standards
  • Remember to add-on to every sale
  • Attend daily kick off meeting 
  • House Keeping – to oversee all elements of the presentation of the Watch/Jewellery Departments, in conjunction with the Store Manager and Senior Management of the company. This will include all visual merchandising, tidiness, and internal displays
  • Check all products are ticketed correctly
  • Assist with telephone enquiries and queries
  • Holiday cover for other team members as appropriate
  • To contribute and sell in all areas of the shop

 

Daily Tasks

 

  • Assist all customers
  • Help re-stock windows on the sales floor before the shop opens
  • Assist in removing stock from windows at the end of day
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers
  • Clean cabinets and ensure sales area is tidy  

 

Monthly Tasks

 

  • Attend one to one appraisal with the Manager  
  • Discuss/review performance and/or problems of the department
  • Conduct stocktaking of sections
