It’s nearly the season of sparkle, but before we hit Christmas glamour, let’s welcome the return of Yellow Gold. It’s back with a vengeance and donning the necklines of the masses with chunky, statement and layered looks. Gold… you have been missed!
Who can remember the love for yellow gold? It used to be the go to for all things jewellery. If you were planning on getting married, you’d choose a gold
engagement ring; for the big day there was no doubt in the choice of a gold wedding band; buying a gift for a loved one the same. However, as with any trend, it suddenly wasn’t so fashionable.
But guess what, we’re seeing the love of yellow gold being re-invented and being introduced once again on the high street and on the catwalk. Big
and bold. Versatile and sleek. Gorgeous and stylish. All the things we cherish as a jeweller.
Winsor Bishop is big on tradition. We love the classics and we know our customers do too. But we also love fashion and have travelled the pond to bring back specialist brands such as Doves by Doron Paloma and looked closer to home with designs by Shaun Leane (one of the ‘Big Three’) extremely talented British jewellery designers of our time. This has in-turn, inspired our in-house Winsor Bishop collection ready for the all important Christmas weeks.
Now we’re on the cusp of another season change… the time of year when we (as individuals) put away our short sleeves and bring out the comfy cardigans and sweaters. The next stop is to start browsing the latest trends for our new winter wardrobes. It’s no different for the jewellery industry. A change in season brings with it a change in customer wants and needs and it all starts with the big names in fashion design.
Combining chunky layered looks with delicate items or worn as stand alone pieces, the chunky look is very adaptable to both catwalk and high street fashion. Wear a thick set necklace with a blouse or shirt to dress up workwear for evening drinks, or add extra boldness to a knitted jumper to add some elegance to your day wardrobe.
These interlinking chain necklaces are great for layering with other items or worn alone.

We completely agree and just love the collection’s uniqueness.
