Patek Philippe Introduces: The New Calatrava Pilot Travel Time Ref:7234G-001

Since Patek Philippe launched their distinctive Calatrava Pilot Travel Time in 2015, the pilot style watch has become instantly recognized as a key model in the Patek Philippe family. Having established popularity among those who appreciate beautifully crafted, highly technical timepieces Patek Philippe have extended the range with two new models.

Inspired by two, special model, aviator watches from 1936 (which now reside at the Patek Philippe Museum in Geneva) The new release follows the distinctive characteristics, featuring large white numerals and luminous hands which boldly stand out against the smoldering dark dial colour.

The new addition ref:7234G-001 is available in white or rose gold and with two case sizes (42mm or 37.5mm).

The new 7234G-001 was crafted with artisanship and the dedicated precision that we admire in all Patek Philippe watches. An elegant blue colour has been chosen for its dial to enhance legibility, with luminous applied numerals in white gold and baton-style luminous hands in blued white gold. It features a dual time zone mechanism to indicate local and home time, as well as local and home day/night indication in aperture. The exclusive Travel Time mechanism with two central hour hands is patented by Patek Philippe in 1959 and 1996.

Through the sapphire crystal case back, you will see a beautifully crafted mechanical self-winding movement, complete with the Patek Philippe Seal – the seal is applied to the finished watch after stringent inspections to meet their extremely strict standards not only on the movement but also the case and any other exterior components.

It is certain that this very distinctive, modern classic timepiece will be welcomed by enthusiasts who appreciate Patek Phillipe’s tradition and innovative ethos.
