New shape, new materials, new dials and of course, new straps, have all come together to introduce a genuine breath of fresh air into this iconic women’s TAG Heuer collection. The goal was to create a clearer synergy between the men’s and ladies’ Formula 1 collections, whilst still very much retaining a strong sense of elegance and femininity.

This process starts with the subtle tonneau shape of the case, a hallmark of the men’s TAG Heuer Formula 1 model but made softer and more refined here, adding femininity to the watch. This new shaped case, complete with bezel incorporating the collection’s characteristic notches, is available in polished and brushed steel or with a black PVD coating, and in your choice of 32 or 35mm diameter.

Next, we discover the double-plate system on the dial, which adds contrast, improves legibility and creates an interplay of colours: blue sunray or silver-plated dial, a total full black look, resolutely rock or set with diamonds for a dash of glamour. The new TAG Heuer Formula 1 Lady is available in a range of modern, fashionable colours.

The last, and possibly most exciting change to the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Lady collection is the introduction of interchangeable straps. Switch from sporty to classic in just one click with no tools required. Available in brown, blue, white, red or black leather, or in metal, the choice of materials and colours gives the collection a casual albeit trendy look, perfect for today’s busy woman who may find herself attending several different events in a single day. Simply throw an extra strap or two in your handbag before you leave the house and change things up at whim.

Powered by a reliable, Swiss made quartz movement, the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Lady – now aligned with the men’s models – is set to become the brand’s entry-level model, with prices starting from £850.
