Richard

Richard has dedicated his workmanship to Winsor Bishop since 1984, and has built up the WB Workshop to it's high standard today. Recently, we were accredited to repair Rolex sports models in house (and now the only watch specialists in Norfolk to do this) and tis is all thanks to Richard's expertise.

He trained as an instrument maker in Physics and Astronomy at the University of London, but became interested in horology during his work there, so decided to go back to complete his watchmaking qualification. This then led Richard to outworking for Cartier of London, and he started by refinishing their showroom pieces and went on to servicing of various models. His freelancing career lead him to working with Baume & Mercier, and gained further accreditations from Breitling, Patek Philippe and Rolex.

Jake

Jake began his career at Winsor Bishop as a Sales Assistant, and within a matter of months,he took on the responsibility of changing batteries and reseals part-time. After nearly 2 years of this, the opportunity arose for Jake to go to Manchester and apply for a place at the very prestigious British School of Watchmaking

Jake passed the final exam with flying colours, and returned to Winsor Bishop as a 'Graduate Watchmaker', and he hasn't stopped achieving since. The WB Workshop was Swatch Accredited in late 2016 so was then able to work on all Swatch brands and is the only workshop accredited in the whole of the city centre. Shortly after that, Jake visited Patek Philippe in Switzerland for Level 1 training in early 2017, he passed this finishing top of the class. The next qualification sent him to Omega in May 2018, and now he hopes to achieve his Omega Co-Axial qualification and Rolex training.
