Every year the world awaits the unveiling of the new models from the world’s most prestigious watch brands at the Baselworld Watch Fair and as usual this year Rolex has provided watch enthusiasts with some exciting new timepieces. These watches will be arriving at Winsor Bishop during summer 2014.

The GMT Master II

The white gold Oyster Perpetual GMT Master II has been unveiled with a red and blue bezel insert, reminiscent of the first GMT Master bezel of 1955. The 2014 model however has been produced in Cerachrom ceramic, an innovative material that has enabled Rolex to create the bezel inner in red and blue with a sharp definition between the colours. Like all Rolex Cerachrom bezel inserts, it offers exceptional scratch and corrosion resistance.

This watch will be available in store from September.

The classic Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller with its easy to use dual time zone functionality has been introduced this year in 18ct yellow, white and Everose gold in 42mm cases, as well as expanding the current collection with the latest dials, bracelets and also leather straps. This watch will allow a traveller to easily adjust the watch to different time zones whilst on the move, while still maintaining a clear display of their reference time such as their office if they are travelling for work.

Datejust Pearlmaster 34

Some diamonds are more precious than others. Not because they are bigger, but because of their exceptional ability to catch the slightest ray of light, to amplify it through their intricate facets and radiate with a unique brilliance. The beauty of exceptional diamonds is that they glitter as if they were made of pure light. Next to them, other diamonds seem dull and lacklustre.

These finest of gems are very rare: they account for less than one per cent of the world’s production. Yet they are the only diamonds deemed good enough by Rolex to adorn its jewelled masterpieces, such as the new Oyster Perpetual Datejust Pearlmaster 34, Rolex’s latest tribute to the art of watchmaking jewellery.

With a 34mm Oyster case and a mechanical movement this exquisite timepiece has a dial with 455 diamonds pave set and bezel set with rubies, sapphires or diamonds.

Platinum Daytona with diamond dial

The elegant Cosmograph Daytona has been upgraded with a platinum pave dial and ice blue chronograph sub dials and diamond set bezel. The platinum case is made from a solid piece of platinum and the watch has the calibre 4130 movement, a self winding chronograph movement with a column wheel developed and manufactured by Rolex.

Cellini Time

A classic Rolex, the modest easy to view white or black dial is set with baton markers and Roman numerals and has faceted hands including a sweephand. With a self winding certified chronometer movement manufactured by Rolex the 39mm cases are in 18ct white gold or Everose and the double bezel is smooth around the watch face with a delicate fluted second bezel underneath. These watches are available with shiny black or brown alligator strap and 18ct gold buckle.

Available in store in June.

Cellini Date

Another classic Rolex with dimensions and options similar to that of the Cellini Time but with the addition of a date function via a hand on a small sub dial at the 3 o’clock position, merging practicality and elegance.

Available in store in June.

Cellini Dual Time

The Cellini Dual time model shows the time in two time zones simultaneously with a stylish sub dial at the 6 o’clock position and has a moon day/night indicator to designate the time in a second time zone.

Available in store in June.
