Winsor Bishop is delighted to announce that Sales Advisor Katherine Webb has been recognised by Professional Jeweller magazine and been named one of the publications ‘Shop Floor Stars’ at a glittering awards ceremony in London yesterday.
From the original nominations twenty sales super stars where recognised for their hard work, dedication, forward-thinking sales ideas and positive attitude to jewellery retail.
Speaking of her recognition, Katherine was thrilled saying “I have been working in the jewellery industry since I left school and I cannot imagine ever changing from such an inspiring career. For all of us, choosing jewellery – or indeed, watches – to purchase is often an emotional experience and to help people as they make that journey is such an honour for me, I feel lucky to have such a fulfilling job.
At a point in my life where I am planning my own wedding I was especially proud to have been chosen by Winsor Bishop to establish their new Bridal Gallery and Something Borrowed concept so our lucky brides can borrow beautiful jewellery for their big day. I’ve already decided what I shall be borrowing!”
Professional Jeweller’s assistant editor Sarah Louise Jordan, who oversaw the event at the Freemason’s Hall, London, said: “Shop Floor Stars has been an overwhelmingly successful new venture for Professional Jeweller, giving us and the wider industry a chance to meet and celebrate the customer service staff who work tirelessly to ensure the trade excels.
“I would like to personally thank every single individual who has made this campaign a success; from the very deserving finalists to the retail owners who arrived at the Freemason’s Hall to support them.”
