After such a successful video campaign back in November, 2018 we decided to team back up with, award-winning film makers, Ember to capture our idea of a ‘Perfect Proposal’. Winsor Bishop’s Managing Director, Sophie Fulford, worked closely alongside the team at Ember to ensure we captured the magic and sparkle that is synonymous with a proposal. Winsor Bishop is in the business of perfect moments and what is more of a milestone than an engagement?

How did we decide on the #PressTheButton ‘Perfect Proposal’?

Sophie, alongside the Ember team, had lengthy discussions on what makes the ‘Perfect Proposal’. Taking inspiration from the team’s own proposal stories, they finally set on the concept of #PressTheButton as they felt it best reflected the magic any couple feel when getting engaged as well as Winsor Bishop’s brand as the destination for your choice of Engagement Ring for your own perfect proposal.

So how did we #PressTheButton on our idea of a ‘Perfect Proposal’?

Being a local business, proud to be based in the beautiful county of Norfolk, it was vital for us to find a local location to shoot our campaign, and what a stunning location we found. The Octagon barns is a unique and historic wedding venue set 25 miles from our home in Norwich and within the picturesque Norfolk countryside. However, whilst the venue alone is stunning, being in the business of sparkle we set up fifty thousand fairy lights across the barn to really bring our concept of a truly magical proposal to life.

After a gruelling fourteen hour set up, Ember took to work in bringing our perfect proposal to life. The video features our gorgeous #PressTheButton cast ‘couple’, Jake and Alice, and took eight hours to film. As Alice enters the barn, a message hangs from a vintage gold button instructing her to press it. Little does she know the beautiful scene she was about to step into.

All in the detail…

It is always important to us that everything is perfect, even down to the smallest of details. We were lucky to team up with Jarrold’s Department Store, to dress the beautiful Alice in a new season LK Bennett dress teamed with silver Nine West shoes (sparkly of course!). The final edit from Ember was finished beautifully, capturing the glimmering lights throughout and ending with the ultimate sparkle of a Winsor Bishop’s in house design, featuring a cushion cut stone set around a double halo of diamonds in platinum
